You will be missed...

I was always amazed that you could create something out of nothing. You were an inspiration to many, including me. Thank you for being you...

Sean (co-worker) August 31, 2006

Grandmaster Joe

Joe was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. You either loved him or you couldn’t stand him, but Joe was always Joe. I will always remember his generosity - I have Joe stuff everywhere. Tee shirts, hats, key chains, a photo of us on my refrigerator and most important one of my favorite tools in my tool bag. I have many memories of Joe including his love of Kentucky Fried Chicken with “a big honkin’ Coke,? video poker at the Casino and an expert ability to “liberate? stuff from a project. Dearest Joe, thanks for being such a good friend. Thanks for trusting me and sharing your secrets. I will miss our long phone calls, your mischievous smile and your presence in my life.

Gone but never forgotten

Joe, you will be missed! You were a truely unique person, and the world sand sculpting family has lost a small part of its soul. Your HUMOUR and Jello shots are great memories. Rest in peace my friend.

About someone like Joe there's so much to say. So much that even before I met Joe I heared stories about him. And even when he will be long gone there will stil be people hearing stories about him, thinking about him and missing him.

Joe, I like to think that through those stories you still live on, because if there's anybody that gave me a lot of stories to tell it's got to be you.

Joe was my Best Friends Brother. We grew up together and Jackie is still my dearest friend after all these years. Joe was the same funny, smart ass, compassionate person then, that he was in his adult life. I haven't seen him in many years, but have loved reading all of the tributes to him. "Joe, your Family loved you very much, especially your Sister. Tell your DAD that she misses and loves him so much, and that she's happy that you two are together again." Laura

Sandman will be missed. I am still too stunned to even believe it honestly. He is in a better place and we will all see him again. Have faith, we will meet again soon
