My prayers are with you

Jackie
May God bless you and your family through this
difficult period in time. Just be assured that
Joe is now making Sand Sculptures up in Heaven
for all the angels to enjoy.

My prayers are with you.

Hey Joe,

Last year you taught me all kinds of beginners-tips and tricks, gave me your tools and then kicked my ass. This year I was having the time of my life in sand. Thank you for all that!!
you'll be remembered. we'll light up another garbage bag for you some time... :)

I am in Hawaii making Joe's final arrangements. In his last conversations with me he requested that his remains be divided and sent to Harrison,BC for the Masters Sandsculpting Championship, Florida and Hawaii. From Florida portions will travel to Europe as he always did and be spread there. The portion in Hawaii will be spread on Waikiki Beach. I love coming on to this website to "meet" all the people who were part of Joe's life, and what a life it was!!

Joe,I keep hoping this is a practical joke a really bad practical joke!I can't believe your gone, I have lost a great friend and the person who taught me to sculpt.
We used to laughed together, oh boy did we laughed together.
I can't believe your not here to answer my calls anymore, you wont ask me if I am making possum stew anymore and most of all I wont hear you say yarda yarda yarda or yell across the site I am sure it will be better next time jenetics.
Make castels in the sky Joe, show them your amazing talent, show them you are an incredible teacher and most of all, make them laugh up there, till we meet again my friend, I will miss you joe (sandman)

Joe Joe

Cant believe you are gone . You made me cry the first time we worked together you made me laugh to . I really had alove hate relationship with Joe cause he would always pick me out of the group and make me feel like shit. Even so he taught me the most about sand and I am ever grateful for his time and comments always. He was always generous with teachings. Even though he would upset me and make me wonder why , I am ever grateful for the time he gave me and I was so glad I thanked you for all the water that day. You certainly had a Joe way and I still have tools I call Joe tools. Rye wont really ever be the same again. All my love Megxxxxx Till we meet again

Joe was my Best Friends Brother. We grew up together and Jackie is still my dearest friend after all these years. Joe was the same funny, smart ass, compassionate person then, that he was in his adult life. I haven't seen him in many years, but have loved reading all of the tributes to him. "Joe, your Family loved you very much, especially your Sister. Tell your DAD that she misses and loves him so much, and that she's happy that you two are together again." Laura
